Supporting the Community
The Nationwide Super team have always been active supporters of our local communities. From charitable support for community activities, to business and industry events linked to our member and employer base – we are proud to play our part.
Some of the initiatives we have supported recently include:
Healthy Harold Program – Life Education
For many years, the Nationwide Super team have supported the ‘Adopt-a-Class’ program through Hunter Life Education.
Through our involvement, the students of Charlestown South Public School are able to participate in an innovative and interactive drug and health education program, lead by ‘Healthy Harold’ the giraffe, that is delivered to over 30,000 kids in the Hunter region each year.

Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards
Now in its 6th year, the Lake Macquarie Business Excellence Awards acknowledge the achievements and contributions of local businesses in the Region.
Winners of the top honours go on to represent the Region at the NSW Business Chamber Awards.
Nationwide Super has been a category sponsor at the awards for many years.
Fitness Australia – Corporate Partner
As a nominated ‘default fund’ in the Fitness Industry Award, our partnership with peak industry body, Fitness Australia, allows us to connect with and support many members and business owners in the fitness industry.
Providing education and support to help employers understand and meet their super contribution obligations has been a key benefit of this arrangement.
NSW TAFE – Alumni Awards
Nationwide Super have been proud supporters of the Hunter TAFE Alumni Awards in recent years.
The awards recognise the achievements of TAFE Alumni in three categories including Contribution to Business, Contribution to Community and Emerging Talent.
Australian Trainers Association (ATA)
We have also enjoyed a long-term partnership with the ATA – another peak industry association, supporting horse trainers and their staff around Australia from their head office in Flemington, Victoria.
As a nominated ‘default fund’ in the Horse and Greyhound Trainers Award, this arrangement allows us to provide education and support to trainers in meeting their super contribution obligations .
