Joining Nationwide Super is simple!

We keep super simple. We make changing superannuation funds easy. It should take you less than ten minutes to swap from another super fund (if you have one) or join us as your very first super fund. You’ll start seeing the benefits of belonging to a super fund that’s not focused on profits, but on returning benefits to our members – and with just 3 clicks you can even track down and combine any lost super!

Starting a new job?

Most people have the right to choose which super fund they’d like their employer superannuation contributions to be paid into – but not everyone takes control and makes that choice.

If you’re eligible to choose a fund, your employer must give you a ‘Standard Choice Form’ within 28 days of when you start work with them. The Standard Choice Form sets out your options for choosing a super fund yourself.

How to change super funds

To change your superannuation fund and have your current employer pay into Nationwide Super for you, simply download a Standard Choice Form pre-filled with our details.  Give this to your employer along with our Complying Fund Notice. Your employer will then need to join us as a participating employer (if they’re not already).

Joining is simple!

Becoming a member should take less than 10 minutes – and the simplest way is online – no paper forms to fill out! The only thing you’ll need to provide that you may not know off the top of your head is your Tax File Number (TFN).

Change jobs, not super funds

If you’re already a member, just remember that if you change jobs in the future that doesn’t mean you have to change funds – you can take us with you!

Just hand your new employer a Standard Choice Form with your member details and our Complying Fund Notice.
